Our subcontractors are also seeing delays, which are creating longer lead times in scheduling and completion of non-emergency repairs. This may affect you as a homeowner if you are looking to remodel or renovate, have pending repairs to be made within your home, or are purchasing a home that is not yet complete.
To provide an example of the types of materials that may currently be placed on backorder and may not be readily available, we have included a couple of articles for your review. This is not a comprehensive list of all material shortages, and as demand continues to increase, we expect material shortages to continue to rise as manufacturers work to reconcile backlog and keep up with current demand.
